We recently introduced new, more affordable iCloud storage plans and your 200GB plan’s monthly price will be reduced from £2.49 per month to £2.49 per month. Your storage plan will automatically renew at £2.49 on your current renewal date and your credit card on file will be charged each month until you change or cancel your plan. I really couldn't be more pleased!
Is Paul Stephenson trying to improve his image?
Excellent and thought proovoking short article on the BBC news website at the moment with the title above which discussed predictions on the collapse of the music business and its relevance to today and other markets. Well worth a read

Of course many here and myself have interests other than sitting listening to music, but why are some people more disposed than others to be 'infected' with it ? I have often wrangled with the idea that being an Audiophile is a selfish activity - work hard earning the disposable ££ , taking time on research and ultimately sitting in the hot seat - but as far as selfish activities go it is pretty harmless ( unless those ££ were stolen or were meant for something more vital). I have a more...
The BBC have just announced the FAB news that Gerry Anderson's son Jamie is making three new episodes using puppets made from the original moulds. He's moved into the Slough building where the 60's series was made, and filming starts early September. Using voice recordings of the original cast, presumably from the records I should have kept when I was young. Which means Lady Penelope will look and sound like she used to. Can’t wait!
I have recently read an article on how difficult, sometimes impossible, to close an account and wipe out information from certain websites. In most cases, once you sign up, it is up to them how they handle your personal...
Said an un-named snitch who died in a fatal alcohol-related auto accident just last night: "Naim did this only to shut the people on the forums up about Hugo, they are just going to kill the DAC line." The deceased tattle-tale...
On a previous post of mine "Foot tapper" asked me a question about my avatar which I didn't read until the post was locked. How do I answer it?
My daughter, just graduated from college, is amid a six week trip in Europe and did the crossing. Certainly looks like a great attraction for tourists and the webcam viewing can be fun for the creative foursomes that appear, but I wonder how locals...
I just realised that the UK Lottery is changing yet again. It changed two years ago. The Lotto element will now allow you to select your 6 numbers from 59 numbers rather that the current 49. This reduces the probability of winning the Jackpot from c.1 in 14 million to c.1 in 45 million. The Lottery organisers, just can't bring themselves to highlight this change in probability on their web-site ! OK, they do highlight there are more chances of wining "something" and a higher probability of...
After spending a couple of months away, I have returned searching in earnest for the Naim forum but it appears to be overrun by Chord threads. From the 2Qute to the Hugo and then the Hugo TT. I suppose that next month will feature DAVE for the...

Well that just sucks. I was looking forward to her achieving a rare feat. Now someone I've not heard of, and couldn't care less about is playing in the final. But that's sport for you. Random outcomes.
2,676 runs scored at 7.3 an over, two wins each, records broken. So who's gonna win the decider tonight?
What's the take on this in Europe? From naim members in England? France? Germany? Italy? Curious...
Ok, I've reached my limit with: SOVEREIGN ETERNITY *facepalm*
A bigger iPad, touchy-touchy screen, a very offensive 12mp camera upgrade. And what's with that "pen"? Jobs must be turning in his grave!
It's Windows 10 Day !!! Any problems yet ? Why not share your experience (s) Don't be in a hurry, it takes an hour or more
I have retired now after 36 years in education. Sadly, I am unable to recall a boss who really inspired me. I did deliver good results but felt that the upper echelon were seeking to pick faults rather recognise the students efforts and offer...
Over the past few days i've been looking at reviews on dash cams, and generally going up the steep leaning curve about them. It should be fairly obvious by now that having a least one in your car is a very good idea, mainly to have good reliable witness evidence for when something bad happens, and many road crash accidents these days aren't actually accidents at all, they are scams, plenty of these to watch on you tube... I've decided i want a dash cam in my car so i've been looking at the...

As a lad I looked forward to the FA Cup Final but my interest (along with that of many others) has waned to the point that I could not tell you the last five winners. I have never been interested in horses or tennis but my passion for cricket has been...
