Padded Cell
Listening to music is a bit of a funny thing really when you think about it. If replay quality is good enough and the right choice of music is playing, the point of thinking about it is well... why am I bothering to make a post .
Hello, I am hoping that somebody on this forum could help me with my old bike. I bought it many years ago off EBay for just messing around. It has a road racing frame and is very comfortable to ride. My curiosity has been growing...
Did I miss why this was closed?
Sharing [uncopyright] music files via the net ... Is there a service where one could upwards such files to so that they may be accessed in similar fashion to photographs being accessed from flickr or photobucket? I'd be very interested to know about such a service, mainly for use in the Music room. ATB from George
Browsing the Naim website I came across this photo under the a '2014 Queen's Award' topic.
Hi guys I'm trying to upload a photo, but even after cropping it right down, it comes out massive in the little reply box. A tip please Thanks
Just round these customised turntables over on the DGM site. Thought I would share. Anyone else had a go with customising
Anybody experience it after the revamped?
Sometimes the pages does not load at all.
I'm giving Safari another go as Chrome seems to be having issues, lots of CPU time etc. In Chrome you can set the start up tabs you want, but I can't find out if it's possible in Safari. There doesn't obviously seem to be a settings page that...
Anyone got them. If so any issues ? (As in replacement Gas and Electricity meters not energy monitors)

Season Of Cycle Lights. I have a new main front light and also ten LED back light, from Moon and Cateye respectively. I also already had a pair of small Lezyne front lights that are well spaced from the main light, and I use these in...
They both went down in my estimation, partaking in the current moronic 'Ice Bucket Challenge' nonsense. Get wet - lose your dignity. Some challenge. Ah; but it's for charity. I was pleased to read that the Prime Minister had the...
The German Defence Minister, Ursula von der Leyen siad yesterday that she wanted Germany to be more able to influence international issues. It was also reported that she was a key contenter to take over from Angela Merkel. If you could...
I recently cut off an ancient MK plug from an appliance at work. The machine went to scrap, but the plug is so old that it has solid brass pins without the plastic shielding [and therefore is now illegal], so should I use this archaic plug for my amplifier, so as to counter the reduced the electric flow in the current Crabtree plug with proper insulation, that has much smaller pins to account for the plastic insulation placed to stop me electrocuting myself without turning off the...
Just noticed we have new heading at the top of the page. Still has the barely-used "About", "Activity" and "Recent Activity" headings; but still no "Padded Cell". Weren't we told that there was no room on that ribbon?
Splashed out on a new MTB frame. Been doing a bit more off road, and also on-road on the MTB with my wife (it slows me down and makes it more fun for both of us) My old Orange hardtail steel frame was pretty hard and heavy so I wanted a bit of...

Are any Forum members doing Movember this year? I've done it for the last two, and was thinking of giving it a miss this year. But the emails have started coming, and I don't think I can say no - even though I end up looking like Freddie Mercury, a...
...Isn't all that IMO. Just not working for me. Too much dull human interest/grounded relationship type stuff and despite some great past perfomances, PC isn't close to being one of my preferred Doctors. Bring back David Tennant. Can...
In a few moments of boredom I was 'going deeper' on the newly revamped Naim website, when I stumbled upon the Naim Experience. Two things struck me: 'Nestled almost in the shadow of Salisbury Cathedral'..... The use of 'almost' is interesting....
How does this happen? Within days the armed forces of my country will once again be at war; and yet we seem to have had no real debate or indeed dissent. I'm ashamed of our response. Do we not understand that we are doing exactly what ISIS...
Very worrying I think that this terrible disease seems to be raging out of control in Africa and has now had a first case in Spain. I can't help feeling that the authorities are underestimating the risk this presents and playing the whole thing...
