Hi folks, Off to see Fleetwood Mac tonight at the O2 and just wondering if anyone can recommend the best options for parking up there? Is the O2 car park worth doing for £20 or are there other better options nearby? Decided to avoid the train this time as it was a bit of a hassle getting back to West Sussex last time. Jonathan
Highly recommended, and well worth the big screen experience for the noise and action. You don't have to be an F1 fan to enjoy this movie. I saw the trailer last time I was in the UK and went to see the film Tuesday while on a flying visit....

Final race tomorrow. Had some spectacular viewing over the past two weeks, and this longest ever regatta has had it all. Speeds of 40 knots, foiling upwind, a near capsize, even points docked for cheating. The sight of two 72-foot catamarans sailing...

Last time I upgraded my iPhone was from the 3S to the 5, skipping the 4 and 4S altogether. Did not find anything with the latest "model" that would make me fork out the extra cash. Anyone thinking of upgrading?

Seem to be lots of cycling aficionados round these parts... I'd quite like to buy a new bike, but I lack the expertise to find the choices in the shop anything other than super-daunting. Currently ride a €350 thing from Decathlon, which has served me well, but is six years old, has difficulty changing gear sometimes (specifically to the third gear on the front derailer, even though it has been looked at twice). Anyway I do enough cycling to warrant an investment, so how much need I allocate...

Other than the standard apps such as the calendar what do you use often? Just trying to understand the true value of apps on the phone.

After a week away with SWMBO and her attempts at navigation (she was almost always wrong, I was wrong only once, and that was immediately corrected by moi), she has finally persuaded me to get a satnav. My first thought was to just go along to my BMW dealer and see about getting one installed there, so that it would be always immediately available and not involve any additional 'clutter'. You should have seen my face at the prices they were quoting. It was going to be well over £3000 to...

I am ONLY posting this for discussion and to hear back from British people that I "know" - I make no inferences in any way - I just thought with the preponderance of British subjects here, you all might find it interesting - from an expat newsletter I get. Interested in commentary from those with "boots on the ground" so to speak. The Telegraph - More than half (57%) of the expats questioned said they found British people fitted their international stereotype to some extent – with 41% of...
