The Naim home page is impossible to use & the forum has bits missing & posts don't set correctly with paragraphs & new lines.
Can we expect some exciting changes ....... or is that a hopeless step too far
Got in on the pre-sale this morning. Bought 4 tickets within the first 90 seconds. On the field, row 10. To the left, but I hope it's a good view. The concert is July 19 and Safeco field has a retractable roof, so we should be dry...
I have just returned from a trip to Scarborough where I got drenched by a large wave on Marine Drive. So much so that my Sony digital compact camera is ruined and I need a repacement. I am looking for one that can fit in my pocket with a good zoom and low light facility as I use it for not only snaps but also taking shots at various rock concerts etc. so small and compact is key. Any recommendations? I am looking in the range £250-300. Richard

I had annual salary review yesterday and despite my complaints to the line manager about my performance rating only being GOOD still got 3.2% rise and 8% bonus. Then came away from the discussion thinking hell, I am 50, still get an inflation+ pay...
Working out of town all week scored me a comp day Friday. A local Naimer was selling a HL I wanted and he was kind enough to invite me in to hear 500-level gear, Ovators, and an LP12. I'm just not sure if I was more blown away by the sound...
This morning, an important parliamentary committee said the pesticides that are being blamed for killing our bees should stop being used. [1] They agree with scientists and other governments across Europe that these pesticides are a danger to bees. But Owen Paterson, the environment minister, is refusing to listen to the mounting scientific evidence. In just a few weeks he will vote on whether these pesticides should be taken out of use across Europe. Last time he refused to vote in favour.

Typically unemotional, slow, and even handed, this 1970s BBC documentary [with interviews with the participants] concerning the Norsk Hydro Plant at Rjukan gives a hint of the real story of the disruption of the Heavy Water operation, and the determination and efficiency of one of the boldest coupes of sabotage in the Second World War. The importance of the operation cannot be over-estimated, even now. I have been there with my Norwegian grandmother in 1973. ATB from George ...
Afternoon all! I am looking to buy a steam cleaner - to clean kitchen, bathroom, upholstery, windows, floors, refresh carpets, mattresses etc. I have between £100 to £150 to spend. Power and build quality, as well as cleaning power, are important here. I would rather buy a fairly basic (in terms of function) unit and update with accessories as I go along than buy a unit that claims to do everything. I've been looking at Karcher and Polti, but if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations...
I could not believe my eyes when I came across this TV for sale

One clue: it played a significant and scary part for a very short time in my first 'career'.
