Route just announced for the UK stages. It is going to go past my office window and all over roads I cycle most of the year. Made up! (As they say around here) Bruce
Global poverty will end soon if only the 100 wealthiest people hand over 25% of their wealth. Is that too much to ask? Or should we ask the next 900 to contribute as well reducing the overall average donation to say 10%. Let’s just politely ignore the potential for corruption down the line as leaders of some of the recipient countries syphon off their “administrative” costs etc etc. My first question is – “which three members of the Naim Forum are in this 100 rich list ?” Cheers Don
I know a number of you have macs out there. I have just bought one and while many things are very fine some seem very clumsy! I assume that is me.Any good guides out there I might consider getting? The question with the help button is asking the right...
Mine starts with a glass at around 6:45, Channel 4 news then music until 9:00 when a bit of Italy Unpacked reminds me where I lived for a while so that I can escape and lust after the dolce vita. Yours? G
I follow four forums that have both Hifi and Music rooms. In three out of the four there are many more postings about hifi than the music. I admit that to truly get emotionally involved in the music it takes both great gear and great music. But at the...

For anyone thinking of giving up the NL I don't think there will be a better excuse than this. I get a ticket for the Wed. and Sat. draw but no way doing both at £ 2 a ticket and do not want to play on just one of the days in case the numbers come up on the other ! As we pay for so many things monthly it works out at £ 17.30 a month, too much for me.
Ok chaps, we have started the bike pics, and moved onto the car nostalgia.
Next item then is gadgets. We all know that men are suckers for a good (or bad) gadget.

I was amused to watch the goings on at Blandings Castle last evening I say Emsworth, you do scrub up well, who’s the fellow with the hat.
Hoping that someone can help with this. Background : I have a conventional gas boiler for CH & HW. Last year I noticed that it seemed to be on for longer cycles than it was off ( much longer ). I could reduce this cycle by turning the boiler stat down to the lowest setting possible, but the Radiators do not get that hot which maybe correct for the stat setting I made. Last month we had a registered gas fitter installing a new cooker. I mentioned this Boiler issue to the fitter and his...

What's the best topic/thread that you can recall reading on the forum in the last year or two? Why do you think it's the best? Now, that should get you thinking!
Just been reading in today's paper that Amazon are starting a new service. When you buy a CD from them, they will automatically keep a digital copy in cloud storgae for you against your registered account details.
What's the best topic/thread that you can recall reading on the forum in the last year or two? Why do you rate it as the best? Is there a close runner-up? Now, that should get you thinking!
