Hi, I have a Yamaha RX - V667 receiver for my home theatre. I have a Naim CD5i and Nait 5i for CD playback. I'm trying to use my Yamaha as a pre-amp, passing the L&R front pre-outputs into the AV inputs on the Nait. The Nait is then connected to my front L&R speakers. I am getting a loud humming noise as soon as I select "AV" input on the Nait. (CD's play just fine when then input on the Nait is "CD"). I´ve decided to go from 2 to 5 channel audio, mainly because I mostly use my hifi system for movies nowadays.
