On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Haven't played this in a while. Superb reproduction quality and a very intimate album.
Joe Bonamassa - Redemption
On Yellow Vinyl
1971 - Vinyl - UK first pressing..
Traffic - Live album....
Now playing........
Prince - Prince & A Microphone 1983
Streaming on NAS......... arrived in the yesterday's mail, and now taking out for a second spin!
(1971 | 1986)
Pink Floyd - Meddle
I can never pick a favourite 'Floyd album but this one is always at the forefront of my choices, ripped from early Toshiba EMI (so called) black triangle CD which does sound wonderful but needs some cranking up on the volume dial to appreciate it in full and catch all the nuances.
Joshua v's Povetkin - on TalkSport
Why? Because I am too tight to pay to watch it on Sky. Also, I do like listening to boxing on the radio because you really don't have much idea as to what is actually happening it's quite exciting.

Heard some of that recently - fabulous, like jamming sessions
Melissa Etheridge - Never Enough - Original U.K. vinyl.
Fantastic rock singer, this may be her most acutely emotional album lyrically, fantastic rock voice, superb band, rock songs with real soul in the singing. She should have been a superstar based on this and her 2 previous albums.
Now Playing.......
Boz Scaggs - Out Of The Blues
Streaming on NAS......... Taking Boz out for a spin on this Saturday afternoon, nice to see a man in his mid '70's still knocking the hits out of the park! Got the feet moving this afternoon......
Tidal. Gram Parsons - Grievous Angel
Sandy Denny - North Star Grassmen and the Ravens - 1980s UK vinyl.
Brilliant songs, sung by a great singer, and a backing lineup of some of the finest U.K. folk-rock instrunmentalists.
Tidal. Eric Clapton - Pilgrim

I think I'll join you for one last tune of the day - 'Cold Water', an incredibly emotional song and performance. Lisa Hannigan's voice is just so perfect in this song.
Now playing..........
Melissa Etheridge - Yes I Am
Streaming on NAS........... joining in with EOINK and taking Melissa out for an afternoon spin. Spinning up Melissa's 1993 release and her vocals are fantastic, along with a fantastic band! I believe this is my favorite album that Melissa released and always a good listen.
Beth Orton - Trailer Park
I've a few of hers but this is my favourite.

Now Playing..........
Mark Knopfler - Sailing to Philadelphia
Streaming on NAS............ moving from Mellissa to Mark to keep the music flowing. Enjoy all of Mark's albums with great vocals, lyrics and music and easy to keep the toes tapping and feet moving!
Now Playing........
Paul Simon - In the Blue Light
Streaming on TIDAL.......... taking Paul's new album out for another spin...... still digging that a bunch of performers in their mid 70's are still producing quality music and releasing albums!
Now Playing.........
Billie Marten - Writing of Blues and Yellows
Streaming on NAS........ it has been awhile since I have taken Billie's album out for a spin. As soon as she started singing, a smile stretched across my face...... a beautiful voice and supporting music, a very nicely produced album and incredible for a 17/18 year old. Worth the time to give it a spin!
Now Playing.........
Radiohead - My Iron Lung
Streaming on NAS......... a recent pick up at Fat Cat Records and taking 'My Iron Lung' out for a spin.
Now Playing.......
John Speake - Change of Heart
Martin Speake (saxophone), Bobo Stenson (piano), Mick Hutton (bass) and Paul Motian (drums).
Streaming on NAS.......... something to move me gently into the evening. A very lovely album!
