North Sea Radio Orchestra - Gap Species [ NSRO ]
Just downloaded these pre-NSRO tunes that were unreleased, until now.
An interesting musical journey so far today. Continued with another album from an interesting small label Lösen Records...
Then moved a bit quicker between three records based on reviews in jazz magazine. This one is definitely from a high quality - recommended...
Then moved to this. An amazing jazz voice, an even more amazing jazz voice, said to hear that she already passed away long ago with a limited legacy. But this album is absolutely recommended, highly recommended...
....and of course I will get it in a next download round...
Ramon I already know a bit longer, I think I saw him even live years ago during the North Sea Jazz Festival, or my memory plays against me...., a good Cuban oriented album, with the gentle tones of Roy Hargrove as well included...
It’s a celebration album, but not bad ...ok...
Now in full attention mode again for this amazing magician on piano. All his albums have been hitting in so far, this one is again of grand proportions, if I haven’t published this under best albums of 2018, it should still be done...
Eric Clapton - Crossroads, this compilation from '88 set the benchmark for box sets back then.Playing Disc 3 which covers material from Derek & The Dominos ( then unreleased ) through to the There's One in Every Crowd era.Great Stuff.
John Coltrane - Olé
I was about to move away from JC, when I spotted this, which, foolishly, I haven't played for a while.
Rod Stewart - A Night On The Town, on cd, but still have the vinyl, it reminds me that records often came with a "fast side" and a "slow side".
Miles Davis at Newport.
Playing disc one from this set of all Miles’ appearances st Newport jazz festival.
Having a play with roon and finding stuff i'd not played for ages. Nice to hear familiar tracks presented in simple acoustic arrangements.
Rickie Lee Jones - Naked Songs
Nathalie Lorriers - Le peuple des silencieux
Great jazz in a piano-bass-sax formation. Recorded live at Gaume Jazz Festival 2013.
Nathalie Lorriers - piano ; Tineke Postma - Sax ; Philippe Aerts - Bass.
A very dynamic album of Steve and his trio...
Another one...

Great album and a great band. Had the privilege of seeing them live years ago at Liverpool University Mountford Hall. Brilliant gig and got to speak to Sid Griffin at the bar before it started.
