On the back of enjoying two Suns
This is every bit as diverse / quality recording. This is my discovery of 2009 so far

Handsome Family: Honey Moon. (Sounding rather eerily cheerful for once).

I bought some new specs today, but no CDs.

I've got that too, it's good, but despite its title, is not a best of ... the debut album is better IMHO.quote:Originally posted by BigH47:

This in HMV this morning after getting my new specs sorted.
Its in there two for £10 sale.
I wont say what the other cd was
Good that HMV isn't it! Had a bit of a splurge in there myself today (without specs):
Beirut - The Flying Club Cup (heard good reports)
Johnny Cash - Unchained (first one in that Rick Rubin series, I think.?)
St Vincent - Actor (4AD)
Bill Callahan - Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle (on now and really enjoying it - the man is back on good good form and I think this may well become a big album for me this summer )
Ray Lamontagne - Trouble (nice cover)
Camera Obscura -My Maudlin Career (fancied giving it a go)
Doves - Kingdom Of Rust (great gig the other month)
Maximo Park - Quicken The Heart (prep for sat gig!)
Bat For Lashes - Two Suns (like the first album and noticed some good mentions on here)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz!
Spoilt for choice and happy as a pig in sh..
PS havent put images up partly to save taking up too much room but mainly because I have no idea how to. Will check old threads for the answer!
