Never been a big Monk fan but thought I should spend a bit more time trying to like him. Ordered this limited edition gold CD boxset from Analogue Productions (vinyl version pictured)

Thought I would try out a Japanese First Pressing Black Triangle version of one of my favourite albums to see if these things really sound any better or not. It is going to have to sound good to beat the Definitive Edition remaster of this album.

I await with eager anticipation.

It's one of the BTs that I don't yet have. Many BTs are the best version on CD for that particular title but that's not true for all of them. I'm looking forward to your assessment.
