Holiday in Iceland : 310.000 people produce a lot of music.

My first introduction to MUGISON : alt.pop, a few songs like Tom Waits, sometimes I think of Sparklehorse, sometimes strange, sometimes terrible and then wondrously beautiful....

Ben Webster & Jerry Mulligan, the 2 tenors.

A must. Perhaps the most original execution of Chelsea Bridge (Duke Ellington).

The James Yorkston album is getting a lot of listens at our house too. His ouptput over the years has been a bit variable but definitely seek out 'Moving Up Country' as your next from his back catalogue. Super album.
