Bruce the other is The Acorn, Glory Hope Mountain. From what I have heard both should be right up my street.

This fantastic forum and my new Naim gear has inspired me to buy several new CD's, Jackson Browne 'Running on Empty', The Eagles 'Hotel California and Long Road Out of Eden', Counting Crows 'August and Everything After', Bad Co. 'Bad Co', Boston 'Boston'. Now searching out new music like Porcupine Tree etc. I go after the re-masters or more recent recordings now. While I have an extensive collection of music, much I burned to disc myself from various sources, my new system is exposing weaknesses I've never noticed quite as much in the past. I'm also finding out that I'm mellowing much in my age and my preferences are reflecting that. I've been lost in a time bubble of my past, Rock and Roll or nothing. Man has that changed. Isn't strange, I get the business from the wife on spending too much on equipment so I take a breather. Now I get it for buying too much new music. What's a guy to do??

Yo La Tengo : Popular Songs. Great big mess of YLT at their worst/finest depending on your view. I love it!

Beatles: Revolver (remaster). I figured I ought to buy one at least.

Prefab Sprout: Lets Save The World With Music. Great songs, cries out for a band around hime to really make them fly I reckon.

The Acorn: Return From Hope Mountain.

Shearwater: Rooks

Monsters Of Folk. Not bad on first few spins.

and Richard Hawley: Truelove's Gutter is sat in a wrapper waiting a first spin!
