Try The Libertines. It's ace.
The bristling first track "Can't Stand Me Now", ostensibly a conventional love song, is really about Pete and Carl's (band's) break up, of course.

just bought (online) the MFSL - Pixies Doolittle.
have avoided SACD up until now as I always think I must be missing something but after getting a few classical hybrids I've decided to take the pop and go for a MOFI version of one of the best albums ever.
............I'll let you know

Jonifan (Fred) is a vg seller.
However Stu if you buy it from Amazon UK marketplace direct you can get it for approx £17.55. Spun are a good company as I have dealt with them many times.

I am going to pre-order 65Days Of Static - We Were Exploding Anyway as well, but not sure if I want it on CD or LP first.... decisions!

An excellent recommendation SJB, I now have a copy on order.
I have listened to Goldfrapp's new album on Spotify and sorry, but it is a pure pop offering taking riffs and styles from the likes of ABBA, Prefab Sprout etc. A poor effort in my view and a CD that I will not be buying.

Hi Lontano,
Missed her at the concert because Markah and Norman wanted a couple of pints beforehand.
CD is very good.

BigH47,
Were you talking about the concert or the CD?
You could say that about quite a few artists as they are starting out, she obviously has something worth cultivating, otherwise Anderson wouldn't have recorded with her or had her as support.
