Jeff,
The credit and our thanks should go to EJS who was kind to mention Pogorelich on the topic of favorite contemporary pianists. I never heard of him before.

I understand. But I value the interaction between you, EJS, Doug and others and know I will find valuable music discoveries when I follow your leads. I am looking forward to enjoying these new ones and other instrumental music this evening and early tomorrow.
Haim, wishing you a joyous holiday season and a safe and healthy new year.
regards

All,
Happy to share and learn! By the way, Santa was so kind to bring me a real surprise: Pierre Hantai's Well Tempered Clavier, book I. Hantai is an incredibly gifted harpsichord player, especially tuned into Bach. I had been looking for a modern harpsichord reading of this work but didn't even know this recording existed! Can't wait to give it a spin.
