Noah And The Whale 'Last Night on Earth' seems pretty good to me.

Elbow: Build A Rocket Boys. Patchy. Took a while for me to really like the Seldom Seen Kid so I shall persevere. Is it me or his is his voice a bit off in the higher registers at times?

The Unthanks: Last

Sounded great first up but my wife has pinched it for her car before I could rip it so not had chance to listen again! More orchestral, bit darker was my impression.

Partly due to stiff competition in his choice of repertoire (Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt) he may never come up as first choice, but Claudio Arrau was one of the all time greats. He became more meticulous, nuanced with age but his technique remained formidable throughout. This box includes the last seven volumes that Arrau recorded, at age 87.
