The Borodin Quartet plays Haydn's six Op.33 quartets. Bit of a gamble, as these quartets are notoriously difficult to get across on disc.

Arrived in post today...
3 x CD box-set pre-owned via Amazon for £8, a big saving on a brand new set but these 3 discs look every bit 20 years old with considerable bronzing on the upper (label) side. The silver playing surface under-sides look clean so just hoping they play okay.
