The latest attempt to scale the Mount Everest of piano literature, Liszt's sonata in b minor. On the slow boat to avoid P&P, so may take two weeks to get over here.

Paul Simon: So Beautiful Or So What (On HD download)
Alison Krauss + Union Station: Paper Airplane
The Head and The Heart (self-titled debut)
I like the Paul Simon, well most of it. Not quite sure it is a consistent as his best but it may grow. I bought it partly to try out HD Tracks audiophile downloads heck the quality is really impressive. I'll use them again.

Having read lots of good things about AKUS, thought that I'd try them out so have ordeded these - hope that I've made a decent choice.
Inspired by the Prokofiev thread started by Debs:
During the course of the day, as I have opportunity, I shall be listening to:
Rubylux are a 4 piece , (drums, bass, guitar and keys) from Brighton. They were playing just off Western road on Monday (25th). Sounded OK so took a punt on this album, not bad at all.
Bill Callahan : Apocalypse
Follow up to to 'Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle'. Very good it is too.
New, GBP 2.40 at Amazon UK. For a title that's been out of print for quite some time! It's now even cheaper although through Other Sellers. As for the quality: in my opinion the ABQ have never been better than in Haydn and their complete Op.76 (studio recordings) is fantastic. I've had the other part for a long time.
