Also a cheapy, cheapy CD for which there seems to be no artwork anywhere online 'Sacred Serenity' which has turned out to be a really beautifully performed collection of plainsong and Renaissance polyphony by an unnamed choir.

The plainsong is some better-known pieces, yet also plugs some gaps in my reasonably extensive collection of the genre (about 30 CDs and a dozen LPs).  My only criticism is that the plainsong is perhaps a pip or two too slow; especially noticeable in the Missa de Angelis.

Nick Cave: The Boatmans Call. Excellent audio quality on this remaster.

The Pierces: You and I. Disposable summer pop ripping off The Bangles quite blatantly in places. Not a keeper methinks.
