Great album, I was a big fan of The Czars, have you heard any of their albums?.

Hi Gerry, Yes I have "Sorry I Made You Cry" in my collection and will be buying "Goodbye" & "The Ugly People vs The Beautiful People" for Little Pink House & Drug which John sang last night. Great stuff!

2 due to recommendations, the muddy waters due to the cover art and i read it was his first album on chess, the oasis because i have somehow lost my original and the quo because of the title track.

            D F
When I look up to the skies
            C G D F-C-G
I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow
                 D F
I rush home to bed I soak my head
            C G D F-C-G
I see your face underneath my pillow
            D F
I wake next morning tired still yawning

I've been off buying music for years; work is very patchy up here and I lack space so storing all my CDs and records and digging out was problematic, digging them out to play even more so. I've quite a lot to catch up on now I have the convenience of the 'Qute and CDs are at a more realistic price in the UK.

A few weeks ago in supermarket:

Police - Greatest Hits

Eminem - Curtain Call; The Hits (clean)

Online a couple of weeks ago:

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Amy Winehouse - Frank

Into a Circle - Assassins

The Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always (re-issue with bonus tracks)

(latter 2 have on vinyl)

From Oxfam on Thursday:

Massive Attack -Mezzanine

Moby - Play

Morcheeba - Big Calm

It was a random occurance that all the artists' names start with 'M'

From the record shop (sale)

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations

Steely Dan - The Very Best of Steely Dan

Swedish House Mafia - Until One

Not too keen on the Muse album, or probably Muse, they sound a bit studenty, .

Swedish House Mafia aren't who I thought they were either; the music is a bit 'commercial trance, but very listenable.

These two purchase were a bit of a pot shot, but that's what music is about; trying new things.

Beautiful lady, had the pleasure of hearing her in concert a number of times.

After a bit of a gap two new or newish albums:

Richard Buckner: Our Blood as heard on NPR First listen. Weary-voiced country folk always does it for me.

Wye Oak: Civilian. Quiet/loud rock album that has a great female vocalist. The title track could have me getting my air guitar out!
