The purchases made during the visit in the music store just around the corner today afternoon include:

  • Joe Bonamassa: The ballad of John Henry
  • Robert Plant | Alison Krauss: Raising Sand
  • John Coltraine: Blue Train/Soul Train/Dakar (2 CD compilation)

If you ever visit Helsinki and have some spare time stop by at Black and White. All kind of music available (not so much classical) in CD and vinyl format.

There's some lovely songs on this new Waterboys album. Sadly it sounds over compressed and somewhat messy, especially on the busy parts. Shame.

George,

Sorry to hear that.

I thought the sort of promo i heard a couple of weeks back was quite good.

Mikes later work doth suffer loudness wars more so on cd though.

My vinyl copy wont be here until some time this week.

Will let you know what i think.
