Not sure he does bad.
I have seen Jeff play with just one string and one hand.
He could not do bad even if he wanted to.![]()

The Grays - Ro Sham Bo (featuring Jason Falkner). Looking forward to hearing this US release.
Elton John v Pnau
Good morning to the night
Can't quite figure if I like it or not....disco sampling to bits of songs I know really well...interesting....

Is that an alternate cover for "Diamond Mine" or a different record?
It's the Jubilee Edition of Diamond Mine includes extra tracks.
Enjoying This!

I heard sample tracks on amazon, so decided to buy these...

The new Nik Kershaw (EI8HT) is released on 6 Aug. Bought the 2nd CD from his Web Shop.
Denis,
I saw Nick on tv last week talking about the new album.
I meant to have a look but forgot.
Thanks for reminding me.
Stu.

Apart from Malcuzynski playing a piano i wasn't sure what was on this CD when i ordered it but at only 2 quid [pre-owned] i couldn't leave it there and took a chance, turns out it's a 1997 issue cd of a 2000 issue one i already have, and with different cover : )

Haskil/Markevitch: Mozart Piano Concerto No.20 & 24
Since the original vinyl is going for a silly $$, a CD is more sensible.

Haskil/Fricsay: Mozart 19 & 20
I already heard the 19 with Fricsay. Curious to hear her 20 and Beethoven's 4th Concerto.
This photo of her looks so much like my friend's daughter.
Arrived yesterday in post...

[DDD] recording: Doopsgezinde Kerk, Deventer, Nov 2008
Okay be honest...
How many of you would be put off buying this because of the budget label?
Amazon.uk brand new with free delivery £7.27 [price at this moment in time]
I have known Pieter-Jan Belder from my 2 x CD box-set of WTC book I (harpsichord) purchased a couple of years ago, and very good it is too.
This 3 cd set of Rameau complete works for harpsichord is not the most top drawn recording with some slight brightness from the recording room itself (mostly effecting the violin which is only on disc one) but this is slight and none the less all is very enjoyable, neither too close nor too distant the sound quality is excellent otherwise : )
Debs
The Pines: Tremolo. Folkish americana, unspectacular but pleasing album. Buy this if you like Dolorean, and vice versa. Bit of Grand Drive too.
Basia Bulat: Oh My Darling. The darling of at least one Forum member, finally gave in and bought it. Seems....nice but i'm not exactly blown away. Parts made me think of Laura Marling which I don't consider a ringing endorsement.
She Keeps Bees: Dig On. Another Forum recomendation, bluesy guitar rock in the PJ Harvey mould. Enjoying this.
Sweet Billy Bilgrim: Crown and Treaty. Straight to Ebay album for me I'm afraid. Fooled by the one good track I heard first.
