Fence : Fence
Nice Belgian pop with psychedelic sixties influences. Some listeners hear Beatles and Beach Boys.

She Keeps Bees: Dig On. Another Forum recomendation, bluesy guitar rock in the PJ Harvey mould. Enjoying this.
Thanks for this one Bruce, I like what I hear. Definite similarity to PJ Harvey, which is no bad thing in my book.

After waiting an eternity for DG to release Sinopoli's Bruckner recordings (he recorded 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9), started hunting for them on the 2nd hand market. These recordings have legendary status in some quarters.
EJ
EJ,
That's great! I bet Sinopoli's Bruckner would be interesting.
I've still got a stack of Bruckner Symphonies I need to get to yet.
Anyway, I am still on the Beethoven Piano Concerto kick and this is my latest CD purchase.

For my first box of Mozart symphonies, it had to be the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Just pre- ordered the double vinyl from ninja tune for £12 inc post.

George's favourite Piano Concerto No.1.
Dear Kuma,
The Fur Elise was Schnabel's first successful [i.e. released] recording for EMI, and was the twelfth side on the set containing the First Concerto. I used to play this on a little HMV wind-up gramophone, and played the Concerto and Fur Elise till they were grooved out!
ATB from George
George,
That's so sweet!
For a long time I couldn't stand to listen to 'For Elise' from the over exposure for piano practice which was a typical first recital tune for young kids. ( which I had a horrible stage fright in that never made it to the stage after practicing every day )
