EJS,

One for upstairs, another for downstairs.

More reliable than a wireless network, btw.

As recommended by Stu. (gale401)

Bugger, I've had to succumb to the vinyl as well.

Another CD from Amazon seller ZOverstocks, 90p + £1.26 P&P:-

Took multiple attempts for the iMac to read/rip this CD, plays OK on CDP. I'll check the rip later. CD looks fine.

One of Decca's monster recording projects: Haydn's symphonies on 33 CDs, recorded by an unknown band and the late Antal Dorati. I have a couple of individual discs taken from this set and heard a few other symphonies, and even today the performances remain brilliant. I'm not a completionist, but there is no other way to access some of Haydn's middle symphonies, which I've been longing to hear for a long time.

Cheers,

EJ
