Wow, what a selection. Not so much into rush these days but it's not very often you see Korn around here. Pity, they are a great band and Follow the Leader is also a great album. Enjoy them!

  Esmerine : Dalmak (2013)

Esmerine: Instrumental Rock Ensemble Led By Percussionist Bruce Cawdron (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) & Cellist Rebecca Foon (Silver Mt Zion, Saltland, Set Fire To Flames). Partly Recorded In Istanbul With Four Turkish Guest Players.

So: music of Godspeedmembers with Turkish music influences, very interesting, I think.

Self titled solo album. He was the lead vocalist from the Lighthouse Family. This album (his only solo album it seems?)  dates from 2004. I just needed to hear more from this guy, he has a superb voice that never fails to get to me in one way or another. I don't know what he is doing these days does anyone know?

Once again replacing lost music I have just ordered these two old favourites by Manfred Mann's Earth  Band, both remastered

Quite surprisingly there were no cheap 2nd hand versions knocking about on Amazon. Due here on Friday as I am giving their "Prime" one day delivery thingy a go.

Oh yeah Stevee. Not forgetting the magnificent 'Nightingales and Bombers'. The counterpoint of Mick Rogers' guitar and MM's lovely analogue synths is glorious.

Another one for the 'Play' pile.

John.

Thanks John. That could well be another one to add to the purchase pile.

David Bowie's 'Let's Dance'. First 3 tracks are amazing...the remainder somewhat forgettable!
