Woah..  Side 2 is in my opinion just as strong.  It's just a shame that it was so good an album in its way, and so successful, that it gave him a bit of a crisis of integrity that blighted the next few albums.

Nice to see another fan of 10000 Maniacs on here although I always felt that the studio albums lack something compared to the live "unplugged" album which is one of my all time faves. Having said that, as I'm still madly in love with Natalie Merchant, I'm prepared to make allowances

It's because I've seen them so many times in the "What are you listening to.........." that I took the chance with them when I saw them - so you can probably take some credit in that.

Nonsense!

Zombie Stomp is great!

The entire CD is well done with top notch production and the A list performers.

Wish I could get this in vinyl.

Another pre-order.

I have tried before, but simply can't seem to "copy" the cover pictures. It could be some form of security on my laptop that prevents me accessing appropriate sites, or it could be me just pressing the wrong buttons.

Any help most appreciated.

Cheers

I do a google image search by entering artist and album name. You right click on the pictures (ideally 500x500 or larger), choose "save image as" and enter its name as folder.jpg and save it in the same directory of the album folder.

Having recently read a very interesting book about Procol Harum, I've been working my way through their old albums, mostly on original vinyl, and a very rewarding journey it's been!

I'm generally averse to buying albums by bands who've reformed after being split up for a long period; almost inevitably being pretty poor and disappointing, just cynical attempts to grab a bit of extra cash. However, I've just treated myself to this, recorded some thirteen years after the band originally dissolved :-

...and it's quite superb, easily up there with their best. As a bonus, the sound quality of the recording (on CD) is exceptionally fine.
