Deb,
It's not here yet and this is the first time I purchase their CD.
Will report back when I get to listen to it.
P.S. How is Kempff's mono Sontatas for performance? Better than stereo set?

a little while ago i read reviews about the legendary performance on his 1950s mono recordings, but the Regis set was grief enough for me to return as 'faulty' in somewhat of a hurry, so i dunno, ...and tbh I find it far too tiresome to appreciate a piano performance of brilliance from a badly sound engineered recording and/or remaster.
Or to put it another way, i by far enjoy a fabulous SQ recording sound with a average pianist playing reasonably, far more than the best ever pianist playing perfectly but from a badly sound engineered and remastered recording - if you know wot i mean : )
