I didn't know you liked This Mortal Coil, George. Their first album - It'll End In Tears - is just brilliant. Ah, that might not be what you meant....."

George has a lot to answer for! I made the mistake of asking for a couple of Bach recommendations a few years ago, and now I have 71 CDs of his music. It's the best discovery I ever made, after the Smiths of course.

I am not sure about mortal coil being a liking,

The music of Bach is both more pleasing and reliable than anything else in music ...!

Dear Nigel, I am completely delighted that I may have helped kindle a fire that will burn for life!

Only discovered this 20 year old album recently.

More up-tempo than his last two releases.

2 CD package of pure blues. A bargain on Amazon ATM for £3.93. SQ is pretty good.

A 9 CD, 15 Album box set that was 5 star rated and very well reviewed by over 80 buyers at the River Apparently it's been well remastered in 16 and/or 24bit.

... and this (2002) 2 CD Best Of album for £0.01, just to be able to quickly access and play the hits!

Me too, thanks to Stevee's heads up. Bargain of the century! From what I've heard thus far, the mastering sounds very good...
