Thanks Tony, listened to it on Deezer Elite yesterday and ordered it straight away (for pennies) over at at the river! I've got their latest release Alternative Light Source (released last month) sitting in a Deezer E' playlist for later on today too.

Interesting to see that the older CD's are showing up here now and that the newer material shows more and more up under the download section.

I haven't been able to stop listening to these two brilliant albums, back to back, over and over. Great music found here:

Billy Child - Map To the Treasure: Reimagining Laura Nyro

Mathias Eick - Midwest

Hawkwind - Coded Languages

Live At Hammersmith Odeon, November 1982. This was on the Choose Your Masques tour, and as is frequently the case at this time, a so-so album (neither classic nor clunker) is elevated live in the company of several classic (Brainstorm, Somic Attack, Magnu et al.) favourites.

The line-up was Brock, Bainbridge, Griffin, Lloyd-Langton, and the returning (briefly!) Nik Turner. Michael Moorcock says a few words.

The band are in fine form, Lloyd-Langton was a fine guitarist, Griffin more than making up for Ginger Baker and nice to have Turner back for some honking and squawking.

The sound is good, somewhere between the wall of noise of Space Ritual and the clean cut sound of Love In Space. This is good stuff, and I'd rank it on the third level alongside Canterbury Fayre 2001 (2002), where 1 is Space Ritual (unassailably) and 2= are Live Chronicles (1986) and Love In Space (1996).
