purchased last Friday at CD shop outlet in Geneva
Bought today after hearing one of them on Desert Island Discs yesterday:
The Go Betweens, 16 Lovers Lane. Can't believe I missed this band in the 80's, as an Aussie I'm embarrassed. Have since gone back and purchased all their CD's.
Great band.
Another MusicMagpie purchase, @ £1:50 inclusive:-
Hank Marvin - Guitar Man,
From one of the great guitarists, one of the guitarists other guitarists say influenced them. A simple style but there is some really good playing on this.
5cd box set

Managed to find a 2002 Harvest re-issue and get this back into the collection after an absence of several decades.
Might cue that up tonight on Qobuz. In my record shop days, the brown (display) copy of that was filed as "Concerto For Grope And Orchestra". See also John McLaughlin's "My Goal's Offside".
Ok, Ok, we were young and after the first flush has worn off working in a record shop is pretty dull
Offer for a penny on the river, it would have been rude not to...
