Whizzkid, interested what you think of Espers II. I bought it on the strength of some intriguing reviews and after a week I'm still intrigued! Do you have the previous album(s)?

Hi Bruce

No I don,t have the previous album but I'm going to seek it out. I find the album excellent. what is it you still find intriguing?
Posted on: 19 August 2006 by Bruce Woodhouse
One of those records you need to be in the mood for perhaps. It is just a bit OTT for me in places and conjurs images of kaftans and worry beads. At other times I really like it!
Posted on: 19 August 2006 by Whizzkid
I find it reminds me slightly of early Floyd with elements of tradition folk, but unlike you i don't feel that it goes over the top like traditional World music. It has elements of modern Electronica that takes care of that.

Kasabian - Empire

First heard this a couple of weeks ago and thought it would grow on me - no such luck, the reviews were right. Nothing like as good as their first album - oh well.
