Followed up from the Ruf Records sampler. Another gem to go with....

Hi Munch,

Yes and bluesy rock. Good stuff. I highly recommend this sampler, it has led me to investigate more.

Amazon. I have a season ticket. Smile

I always get USA copies where they are US artists (Luther Allison for example), they usually sound better. The sampler is German.

They have a web site here.

Hi Chris

Excellent - all are good albums - Mr Fantasy is a masterpiece and one of the best records that I've ever heard.

Hi ROTF. Yes. Haven't played them all on my main system yet but downloaded them to iTunes last night and they sounded really good. The On The Road album has a wonderful laid back almost jazzy feel to it. I do like these cardboard sleeve reissues I must say.

Welcome to the Canteen (which was an Oz benefit gig) is one of my favourite records. I have the original CD release. Chris, you don't by any chance have the original too, with which to compare the new one?

Cream "The Farewell Tour". On the Woodstock tape label, which is a new one on me. CD printed to look like a vinyl album. No notes whatsoever. Haven't had a chance to listen yet but I fear it may be no better than bootleg quality. Will find out tonight.

Sorry Folks, tried to paste the cd artwork in here and didn't get the desired result!

Well, the last CD I bought was Magnolia Electric Company - What Comes After The Blues

Only one listen so far, and whilst it seems okay, not quite sold on it just yet!
