5 superb albums - what a great group they were. I don't suppose there is a copy of Arthur The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire without the distortion on Shangri-La: I have it on vinyl and CD and both distort.

They are indeed fantastic. It's fascinating to hear them progressing from American-accented Brit Invasion rockers (Beautiful Delilah) to English-accented and very distinctive sounding troubadours (Waterloo Sunset, one of the great songs of the 60s IMHO). I have the first cd release of "Arthur" and that has the flaw you refer to ROTF.

The Coral - Roots and Echos
My first venture into the Coral, prompted by the single "Jacqueline". An excellent "feelgood" album of catchy pop tunes with a 60's feel. I've only heard it in the car so far, so can't comment on "Naim" sound quality.

I need to sit down and give mine a really good listen. I have only played it once through but had so many distractions that I didn't take anything in.

Yellow dog is a superb album. I have only played it 3-4 times and it gets even better. The sound quality is very good too. I bought "Covenant" as well, again I really like it. I am looking to get further in to his back catalogue very soon.
