May I recommend Every Damn Time by the Black Diamond Heavies. They are another one of these duos but this time a drum and keyboard combination.

They are on the mighty Alive records label so you can probably guess they are heavily blues influenced and raw to boot. The way sensible people like it really.

Be aware though there is foul language on some of the tracks.

Surely that gift will cost you long term because after hearing Sandy she'll want The North Star Grassman And The Ravens and then Fotheringay and then there are lots of Fairport albums and soon it'll be Who Knows Where The Time Goes box sets.
