Where did you get that superb CD from the greatest name in electronic music. Delia is a legend. Hold on to that CD and watch the pages of record collector - there are many great artistic treasures in the world The Haywain, Venus Di Milo and, of course, DD's Electrosonic CD - didn't go for the green vinyl then?

Give it 3 years and it'll be worth a fortune.

What do you think of it?

Hi ROTF,
I got this cd in a Woolies sale for £5.00, having already got:-
Hittin' The Hi Spots & Joe Brown Live In Germany.
Both of which are excellent, music and recording wise.
I hope this cd is the same standard as the other two, as Joe's son Pete Brown has done the mastering.

Hi Chris and thanks

I've got the excellent Hittin' The Hi Spots - I think this collection would be good to add as it covers the highlights of a phenomenal career. Joe's goes back far enough that the Beatles cited him as an influence and used to cover some his songs in early shows.

He seems a thoroughly decent, highly talented bloke and a first class entertainer, never understood why he's so underrated.

I think I'll follow your lead a snap up this compilation.

I tried to get The Harvest Years by Shirley and Dolly Collins, but those stupid amazonians sent me a deluxe copy of Tapestry instead - it is on its way back to them.

Disgruntled of the Cotswolds.
