Another couple of purchases. Thea's CD count is increasing and Kate could follow the same path.

ANDREW BIRD : Noble Beast

Special 2 disc set with instrumental second disc : Useless Creatures

I think very nice and varying popsongs if this singer songwriter, violinst and since 2004 he's a guitarist too.
He's also a good whistler.

PRINCE : N.E.W.S (2003)

North, East, West, South : 4 x 14 min.

Improvised music ranges from funk to jazz to new age without any apparent direction or intention.....

For € 5,- I found this instrumental disc with a remarkably good sound quality through my Naim system !

Paul, you have good taste-I'm really enjoying the Woodpigeon album too. Have you heard the Bowerbirds? Think you might like it.

Bruce,

Thanks for you suggestion. I didn't listen to the Bowerbirds last year. I'll try soon in the CD shop (sounds better than in my computer).

U2 : No Line On The Horizon

First impression: perfect performence of Bono and The Edge, known high U2-quality.
Excellent production of Brian Eno & Daniel Lanois, as usual from these guys.
