I'm not sure if I should be banned for this actually but I liked them when I was about 12 and I very definately had a major thing for Jay Aston. I went for the CD with the bonus DVD disc with all their videos on it so had a very enjoyable evening last night watching the DVD and re-living my teenage fantasies. It was interesting to hear it on a £20k AV system!
Would anyone like me to bring it to the next show so you can all 'enjoy' it??

DARK WAS THE NIGHT.
Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National produced the album, with John Carlin (founder of the Red Hot Organization) its executive producer. A total of thirty-two exclusive tracks have been recorded for the compilation, with profits benefitting the Red Hot Organization - an international charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS.
In general I don't like compilation albums, but these are very, very good, over two hours all new songs without inferior tunes.

MALAKAI : Ugly Side of Love (2008 - 2009)
The Observer tells: Signed to the label run by Geoff Barrow from Portishead, Bristolians Malakai mix Love-style garage psychedelia and trippy samples with modern production savvy.
Music with its own style and sound, fascinating.

Just ordered from Andy Partridge's own label APE. I came to this from XTC's MySpace where The Milk & Honey Band are a Friend.
I recommend you see 'Disappear' live acoustic to form an opinion of this Brighton based band (Home Page here)
