BE WARNED ABOUT 'Badlands Records UK' selling through Ebay, very dodgy. I gave up on them accepting that Paypal had made the money transfer and bought this through Amazon. I will take up the reclaim for the money on Monday.
AVOID this seller on Ebay.

Adam, I hope this is not against forum rules, but I felt the warning was justified. 176 negative comments in the last 6 months, although 97% positive, this is worrying.

John Martyn, Glorious Fool, on rhino records.

Complete waste of time and money! Johns voice is only just audible on all the tracks.I bought this to load onto the HDX,I have all Johns stuff on vinyl but have been rebuilding my system so its time to resurrect the TT.Given all the reissues following John's death i think the time has come for CD's to be listened to before purchase.

nemouk,

I agree with you totally; my worst purchase in a long time. This is a Phil Collins album with John as guest musician. I even read reviews on amazon. I will listen on Spotify before buying next time. I will also pay a bit more attention to ROTF's opinions in the future Winker

Sorry,
I didn't make my point properly.
The point was supposed to be that CD "remastering"and reissuing quality is absolutely s**t.I have all Johns albums on vinyl and love them all, Glorius Fool, included.

PETER DOHERTY : Grace / Wasteland (2009)

I stand by my comments. This release was really poor and a shame as I admire John's work enormously.
