Running Naim app ver 1.8 on Android on Samsung Galaxy Young Having finally beaten this into submission so it works* (NAC272 and Synology DS212j running minimserver), I find the app tries to get 11 lines of text into 7.5 cm of screen height. To my eyes that's just a little bit too small. I can read it but aiming a digit is pretty hit and miss. Am I being a prize berk or is there really no way to get the text bigger? Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can guide me. I've downloaded a hi res version of Norah Jones Feel Like Home from Qobuz. I have all of the tracks sitting in my downloads folder in my iMac. In all they took around half an hour to download. I selected FLAC format. The slightly odd thing is that the files are showing in Finder as "documents" rather than flac audio files. I am now trying to move those files across into the downloads folder of my Unitiserve which is showing on the network. I copy the...

Trawled the forum and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I had a Unitiqute for streaming purposes, but being used as a source was a waste, purchased a DAC-V1 and built a computer/NAS and used this as a main streaming source and a storage device. Music seems fine using windows media player via usb/ jitterbug into dac, but still can't touch my CDS3, would the Unitiserve rip a better copy of CD and be a better proposition for streaming than a HDX?

Hi everyone. I tried to update my ndac with a sandisk memmory stick. After rebooting, all the dac's lights are on. I tried to force rebooting by pressing 1 and 3 as told and nothing, then i was suggested to press 1 and 4. Nothing happend, all lights freezed on. Ani insights??? Thank you very much

I enjoy listening to music through my Sonos Connect (mostly Deezer) into my 252 SC, 250.2 and NBL's. I have an LP-12 for my vinyl as well but this is more about the digital end. I was thinking of adding a DAC-V1 to the setup for better sound through the sonos and also with the capability of headphone use. Would this improve the quality of the sonos? Can I also hook up an NAS to the DAC-V1 and listen to music files that way? I'm blown away by the amount of different naim boxes that all seem...

I have a Naim Uniti 2 and a Mac Mini connected as a music server. I only use the mac mini because I had a spare one and it works fine. I usually use JRiver as the server software but I have recently discovered PLEX and I have started to use it for my movies in connection with a Apple TV. I am now thinking of only using PLEX for both movies and my music but my Naim Uniti 2 does not see PLEX. Can anybody advice?

Hi all, Having problems with my UServe (2TB, HDD version). It appeared to drop of the list of servers, and despite soft and hard resets, changing the network,port it was connected to (even connecting it directly to the router - (BT Hub 5) and restarting the router, it refuses to show itself on the network. Hello all. Just wanted to provide some info on Deezer. I'm running a basic Naim set up 150 , 122 and name dac. this has been fed by my sonos , and streaming Spotify at 320 . Just taken the plunge and taken the 30 day trial of Deezer. Wow truly amazing. The Flac files through the Naim just seem so much more in intense. I did speak to my local naim dealer who suggested the Deezer flac files would make the system come alive , its I'm told CD quality. Not sure if I will get the musical benefit...

I have a QNAP TS-412 NAS comprising 2x2TB hard drives operating as a mirrored pair. One of the drives appears to be failed or failing from what I can make out from QFinder Pro. To replace the failed/failing drive is it simply a matter of taking out the old drive, putting in a new drive and sitting back whilst the system does its thing? Or is it more techy than that? Can someone please help?

Using my newly acquired NAC-N 272, I am disappointed that album artwork stored on my QNAP NAS doesn't show up on the NAIM app when I select uPnP. The NAS runs Twonky media server and I edit the files with MP3tag editor. It all worked perfectly with my Linn DS1 and the Kinsky app! All the files are CD rips using Vortexbox. Not sure if it is obvious to all as I only discovered by chance that the Inputs e.g. Digital 1, Analogue 1, etc can be renamed in the App which then reflect in your streamer. So I have renamed an analogue input to "Rega Amp" for my turntable, a digital input to "Spotify" which I stream via Apple TV. So much easier than hunting for the right input.

I've now pointed my Core app (which I've had for two days now) to this network share but the app displays a large percentage of my music metadata incorrectly and albums by the same artist are not linked together along with many other issues. I have recently bought a Mu-so and I see from the Naim app that Firmware Update 1.5.0 is there to be applied. However, under the Show Old Versions tab, I am also given the option to apply Updates 1.2.0 and 1.3.0. Should I apply these 2 versions before 1.5.0? Sorry to bring this subject up again. I have been using TIDAL on my ND5 now for the past year and at certain times of the day it continually drops out or stops/starts. The certain times of day are when people are likely to most use it say in the early evening for instance! Now please can I have some clarification on this subject. Is this to do with TIDAL or NAIM? Hi, I'm very happy with my windows based source using a Hugo and a Gustard U12 spdif converter. It sounds great. I have been downloading quite a bit of high res music over the last year or so, but the Gustard is only showing 44.1 on the display, which means that the pc is down sampling the high res files to CD quality. I went into the midi settings and changed it to 192, which changes the display on the Gustard to 192 regardless if I'm playing high res or red book etc, which obviously means...
