Just built a Fritzbox Mediaserver and there is also a problem to read AAC Tags within the Music Lib structure. So the workaround : I go into the Folder structure, and the Naim app plays also these files fine

Please help folks, I am tearing my hair, what there is left of it, out here. Downloaded a Rachel Podger Vivaldi album from Qobuz and whatever I do I cannot get the track order right. Downloaded to Mac and I have Metadatics so have tried everything in the tagging line. It looks perfect on Metadatics, 2 discs 1 of 18 and 2 of 19 but it still won't download to Unitiserve right. I have tried taking out the track numbering totally, numbering 1-37 on 1 disc and have run out of ideas. Any thoughts?

dear All, sincs the NAÏM app has been updated, I find TIDAL suggestions on the artist of which I'm looking for some music on my OWN musicserver. Is there a setting which can elliminate this very irritating feature. Further on; tidal doesn't have to know which music I'm plating!

I have a uniti core on order hopefully to collect next week? I have a seagate 4 TB drive which my dealer will install, but would appreciate any recommendations on a back up drive. I am not a computer whizz and really only want to plug n play and not mess about with Microsoft windows. Just be able to use the naim app from iPad and back up from there. Any suggestion appreciated

I'm using Mu-so and naim app over wifi and there is a Synology NAS connected to the router by ethernet. When I select the iradio button the naim's choice list are displayed, then I press < to try to go back to the other options but all I get is the rotating dotted circle. If I unplug the NAS Ethernet cable from the router then restart the app then I can get the internet radio list which includes the naim's Choice option. I was thinking of getting myself a MuSo or Qb but then was wondering if the next generation MuSo might be in the offing to take advantage and embrace the new platform in the new Uniti range. I assume the MuSo has its own renderer and DAC just like a full scale streamer. So would it not benefit from the new platform also? I added lots of audio files into my cloud drive and I could not get the Naim app to refresh my UPnP files! I have tried to reset my Naim Muso Qb, reinstall the Naim app and tried to clear UPnP cache but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I have bought a Synology 216j to replace an Iomega HMND, and the performance improvement is outstanding, particularly the Interface. Have installed Minimserver on the NAS so still learning. I would like to know how to deselect some of the search options under Music, eg "artists" and "Genre", as I never use these. Cannot see any options in the Synology Media Server nor in MinimServer. I can't get any on demand programmes via the Naim app at the moment. Is it just me or is the service down?

I rather like Minim as a server, but it is written in Java and I'm told Java is not secure. So, is Minim safe to use? I use Windows Defender and Firewall on the computer I use for Minim. Hi all, Thinking ahead, in deciding on an Atom for streaming duties for iradio and air play from my Mac mini. with that in mind, I'm thinking about speakers and will probably use some decent sized bookshelfs e.g. Dynaudio focus. had great experiences with the 220's in the past so was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? lookinf for sonething with a bit of clout, although I'm aware the Atom probably has its limits.

Help! Just went to use multiroom but the 4 square icon is missing. The iPad app sees both the Qute 2 (master) and Muso Qb but there's no 4 square icon by the volume bar on the Qute iPad app window. It was working before. If I select the Muso icon, it says Mutliroon ready, start multiroom audio from master.

I'm watching the web/blogs about DACs for a while. It seems to me, that there is something like a "sweet spot" for DACs in the range between 3000-5000€ like Auralic, T&A 8 DSD, Chord, Ayre to name a few. Reading the tests of those, you'll reach 80-90% of the SQ nirvana of the bigger ones like MSB, Playback, Nagra HD (price > 9000€) etc. Is this only me impression or am I totally wrong? Ralf

I tried to connect SU to my TV via Digital 3 (optical) input to listen Netflix on my stereo system. Netflix sound settings default stereo, by Panasonic technical support my TV do not modify audio signal in any way. But only continuous noisy rattle is the result.
