Streaming Audio

I have an issue with the new updated V5.1 app that wasn't dealt with when I mentioned it last week when the disastrous V5.0 came out. To illustrate the issue I need to post a picture but I've never been able to on this forum. Can anyone help me with this as I've tried on numerous occasions to do it and I always get a broken link symbol instead of the picture I want. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know of a remedy to this problem with my new Muso? Or is it definitely as case of referring to the dealer of Naim support? The Muso works brilliantly, connects and streams everything as it should, but the problem occurs when the unit has been in standby or deep sleep. On awakening (switch on from touch panel, remote or app) the base and control dial lights flash and the led on the side flashes red. (Strangely it continues to play music!) I've clicked the 'create account' text in the Naim App, but it doesn't bring me anywhere where a 90-day trial for Naim customers seems to be offered. Any ideas??

I have experiented and ripped some files from Mac to Synology NAS? I have now deleted the music files from the NAS by using the Mac, but the music folder won't dissappear from the Naim app. (containes no music). How do I refresh or delete the folder? Thanks in advance. Stover

Having nearly filled my Unitiserve Hard drive I have added a second hard drive as additional storage for my ripped CD collection My problem is that I cannot find a way to back up the files on this new drive even though my Unitiserve automatically recognises any discs on it and shows them in the app normally Has anybody encountered this and solved this problem as I am loathed to rip any discs to this additional drive until I can perform back ups on it Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi hopefully re-posted into correct forum, curious about peoples experiences of SQ when streaming with the Melco units (N1A and N1Z) into a NDX 1) is there a uplift in SQ compared to say a good NAS? 2) more me wondering how melco would fare say against the new uniti core OR the innous Zenith Mk.II set up ? anyhow interested in peoples experiences with it in streaming setup and whether any noticable uplift in SQ...... also as an aside is the melco capable of transcoding FLAC to WAV?

I've had my Muso for several months and it has been fine apart from the occasional dropout but over the last couple of days the radio signal has been constantly on and off - on for a couple of minutes then it drops out for 30 seconds, connects again for a few seconds, drops out, etc ad nauseam...It works fine with Apple Airplay from my MacBook. I've been playing a bit more with iRadio, and my kids' Spotify, and I'm now realizing that the ability to consolidate all of my sources into one interface would be REALLY NICE. I want Alexa, a la Amazon Fire tv -- I want to say (or at least type) "Beethoven" and get all options from my home upnp server, and other sources that I have access to. Is this what Roon brings to those who use it? It sounds like the interface for the Core is improved over what the Naim app and other upnp servers...

Only just realised that this must be an international stream on the Mu-so as getting the repeated message this morning "Due to rights restrictions, this part of the program is unavailable" So going to my default of using iPlayer Radio app on an old iPad I have dedicated as a media player. Last night I had the pleasure of being able to compare the newly arrived uniticore to a unitiserve SSD on a reference level Naim system. The reference system consisted of: NDS, 2x555ps, Statement S1 pre-power, S-800s, full fraim rig, unitiserve and core in rig, netstreams switch also power lined. Hello all I have had a mu-so for two years. Have been able to pre programme radio stations when first purchased and use spotify and as sound bar . On the phone the app has bever really functioned and cannot access all the normal info/options. tried to sort out again last week and got 'streamer not responding'. My wife has bought me/us a Mu-SoQB for Christmas (massive surprise) and I have the same problem. QB works ok with spotify and white light is on at the back but no operation of the app...

I have all my music stored on an Iomega NAS in FLAC format, and recently have been unable to pick up the Albums on my NaimUnit directly or via the app on iPad. The problem seems to be random, some albums are not visible at all, others only display a single track or two tracks. Have rebooted the NAS several times, but problem still persists. Any ideas before I chuck it and buy a Synology or QNAP? Its Xmas and I can't play my tracks any more.

Due to inconsistent Wi-Fi performance from our old BT HomeHub5, i’m thinking of looking for an alternative and the new mesh routers look like an interesting solution to problematic Wi-Fi coverage and stability. They have been favourably reviewed and featured on a few sites and podcasts I listen to. Eero , Luma and the Netgear Orbi seem to be the leading contenders. Hi, just downloaded the 5.1 version of the IOS app. I am not using TIDAL. I do not have a user account and don't want to register as one. TIDAL pop up login screen opens every time I open the Naim app. I do hope you fix this bug asap or tell people like me how to get rid of the pop-up. Best regards, Vesa

i have downloaded this version to my iPad and iPhone and now neither can pick up my Uniti. Have tried adding manually, rebooted the Uniti, reloaded the app to no avail. I have also made sure the Uniti is awake by setting to Internet radio. Fortunately I have an older iPad with an older version of the app which still works. Why do Naim make this so difficult?

I am reading about cyber attacks carried out by hackers who access thousands of domestic web enabled devices and use them to bombard vulnerable sites (networked toasters have been mentioned!). Are there any issues here for Naim owners, l wonder? Keith .

My n-serve app has worked perfectly for me but now I press to play a stored cd and I get queuing but then no sound and no playing in the top right. The system is able to upload a cd fine. What am I missing?

Downloaded the Bandcamp app on to my Android tablet. No interest in listening to music on it (the Android tablet), I assumed I could listen to it via my system ?? - Can I ? Thanks as always for any help !
