I might consider to upgrade from nDac+Nait XS to seperates, 272+200 seems to be a very attractive option. A lot of considerations are involved like overall sound quality, boxcount, price, flexibility for future upgrades etc... and also expensive cables. In my understanding the 272 has a wifi module and can be used as wireless streamer, so why bother with expensive ethernet cables and switches?

After months and months of questioning the sound of my system I have finally realised that direct USB is not for me. I've had Naim DACs, Chord DACs, Mytek DACs and various others. All connected direct from USB using a Mac and also more recently an ultra low noise server. But never been able to enjoy my music the way I felt I should. Despite gradual improvements. Today a £150 Gustard U12 USB > SPDIF convertor turned up. I plonked it between the audio server (Innuos Zenith) and the Hugo.

Hi everyone. the Naim app on my iphone has historically been rock solid, but since IOS 10, I am having a number of issues. 1. I have to manually add my uniti, its not auto discovered 2. UPNP. When I click this input it goes to a little spinning wheel and thats all. I cannot get past this point. I picked up my sons iphone 4s, and it runs flawlessly, so its something to do with my phone/ios 10 Anyone else seeing this?

Hello, I know this has been covered - but I can't seem to find a solution to displaying cover art on the Naim app on my iPad/iPhone using Synology UpNp. I am using a Mac with iTunes to rip the cd (apple lossless) to the media server software on the Nas before streaming to the N272. Strangely of all the hundreds of albums I've ripped, only one displays cover art on the Naim app?!? Can anyone give me a simple fix, please? Thank you.

I have been using a WD My Book Live NAS to stream to my Unitilite for four years. Until about six months ago the NAS was connected to my BT Router two rooms from where the Unitilite sits. Having suffered the occasional dropout I decided to move the NAS to the same room as my system and connect it via a switch to the Lite. Recently my NDX sometimes stops mid-track and says Input Initialising. This is a bit of a bugger, just when you're really enjoying the music and suddenly - nothing. It's been working fine for some time. Main changes is that I recently added a Philips Hue hub, and after that Amazon Echo. Could it be something to do with one or other (or both) of these? I have been trying to connect a Share on the NAS to the HXD all weekend. It worked before but the HDX has lost the connection. While trying the HDX also lost connection to the Store. I succeeded reconnect. Tried to connect to the Share and some kind of a conflict occurred. Now the HDX has lost both the Share and the Store. All of a sudden my Unitiserve is now combining the WAV files and MP3 files created on ripping, so for every ripped CD I try and play I get 2 tracks. Any ideas how to solve this??

Hi, I have recently purchased Naim Mu-So Qb which is a excellent piece of craftsmanship , setting up all went fine. I have small doubt on bluetooth connectivity which seems to be same like Yamaha YSP-2500. When you change the mode to Bluetooth, then the mobile device like iPhone doesn't connect the Bluetooth automatically as you have to go to Bluetooth in iOS and then click to connect. It does connect. But many steps involved rather than automatic way and should user be playing only songs...
