Dear Naim members, Well the problem is simple but I don't know how to fix it. I would like to use Tidal streaming service on my Uniti 2. To do so, I did a firmware upgrade. My system well displays the latest version of the firmware, v4.4.00. But in the input list where I can select, CD, DAB, Spotify, etc. Tidal does not appear. Hi all Now the new line-up has been announced, I was thinking out loud on what i would like my next streamer to look/feature like. The new ones are very tempting but I miss some features; - multi channel streaming and amplifying (DSD MCH) - Dolby/DTS (i still have a second amplifier for DTS/dolby) All combined into one player, with the Naim sound quality. Very very tempting! (btw i own superuniti + cambridge receiver)

I am trying without success to use Audirvana on a MacBookPro connected by an Ethernet cable to my Naim Mu-so. I can us it using Air-Play and also using an Optical cable. Any suggestions would be greatly received. Kind regards, Simon

Apologies in advance for a decidedly 'senior' question, but can anyone guide me towards a thread or other resource that will help explain to me how to download Hi-Res Albums bought from Quobuz? Embarrassingly, I've managed to purchase a couple of albums and now can't work out how to download from Quobuzz and get them on to my NAS drive! I've previously bought some of the LSO live albums direct from the LSO website and that was quite straightforward, so I thought I had it down. Evidently not!

Please can someone explain in reasonably simple English ?:- 44.1kHz 2116kb/s 48kHz 2304kb/s 96kHz 4608kb/s I roughly understand - the higher the numbers the more hi-res like pixels in a digital sensor Is 44.1kHz the sampling rate therefore 96kHz is x 2 (approx) ? Hello all, extremely new to this group. I was looking for some help/advice. I have recently purchased an Audio Technica ATLP5 record deck with a pre-amp. I have a wireless naim muso speaker system. How can i get the record player to become wireless? What bit of kit do I need to purchase. I'm not keen on a bluetooth solution. My dad gave me a Sonos ZP90 (connect). Is there a way to get back to the "root" of a uPnP server quickly rather than backing back through album, artist, etc? Perhaps there's some kind of short cut you can use? It's not the end of the world but I'm beginning to find it a little painful.

Hi ... I'm new to the forums so apologies if this topic is else where that I haven't found it yet. I upgraded my NDX to 4.4 firmware this weekend and the IOS app to 4.9. Having done so the Volume control disappeared from the IOS app. I went looked for the "show volume control" menu selection that I had previously ticked to enable volume control ( as per previous versions of the IOS app) and it is no longer showing as an option ?? anyone also seen this / been able to resolve ? hi folks, if I switch from Sky to BT will it cause me any pain in terms of my uniti serve/ NAS set up and if so is it easy to get round? In nutshell I pay c£80 for sky and for by and large for the same service I can get it from BT for c£44 (bt hub included.) i like the Sky interface but in reality I don't watch too much tv but with BT I do get better football package which I would watch. I'm happy with my QNAP NAS with MinimServer running on it. Unfortunately, I do not have much computer knowledge, and therefore this may sound like a stupid question: Somehow I wonder if it would make sense by adding a UnitiServe SSD to this setup. The main advantage I see is that it will be an easy way to rip newly bought CD's... Are there other advantages? Any thoughts on this matter are welcome! Many regards, Michel

Hi, This weekend the Tidal play queue has started to be always full, I can play a single track or album but not construct a play queue when using either a Uniqute 2 or Mu-so Qb. It looks like the Tidal app has changed a bit as well. No problem if I use Tidal direct and bluetooth it in, then I can construct a play queue. Any views?

My SU is completely dead. No display or Naim logo light. I have changed the fuse and confirmed that the wall socket is Ok by plugging another appliance in (also confirmed the fuse is OK in another appliance) - without success. Yup; it's all in the thread title. I want to replicate my iTunes library on a 16 GB SD card to play music in my car. No problem to drag and drop everything, but how can I maintain album/artist structure without creating (typing) separate folders on the card and dragging the tracks into the pertinent folders? His campus room has both wired and wireless access but the Qute doesn't seem to be able to access the internet through either because the Uni system forces a user to go through a registration screen in a browser. Hi folks, I've tried a couple of ways to creating a backup for UnitiServe, and today I installed a Synology DS216j with 1TB SSD which seems to work fine. I created single folder 'uservebackup' and was hoping that the UnitiServe can see this under 'Manage Network Shares'. But no luck (I tried 'Refresh'). Could someone possibly tell me the secret - how do I need to configure the Synology so that the UnitiServe can see this as Network Share? This should not be that complicated (before I tried...

It looks like my Linksys-Cisco switch has died. Without that switch I tried UQ2 directly plugged in ethernet socket in the wall and streamer functions like before. Netgear Gs105 or 108 is frequently mentioned in the forum. Can I suppose those unmanaged switches are safe bet or would there be other recommendations? I do not need many ports, only UQ2, Smart TV and Nas will go into the switch. Thanks.
