Streaming Audio

Why is the left speaker output closer to the right speaker while the right speaker output closer to the left speaker? Is any logical reason to design the output arrangement like that? Thank you.

I have my HDX system in the living room, using Ethernet cable from my phone router. I control my HDX via my iPad Pro. In the bedroom I have a PC which is configured for wi fi. I wish to buy music on the iTunes Store and access this content on my HDX via my iPad. How do I do this ?

Hi to all, I've compiled a playlist on my iPad with around 35 tracks but when I go to play the songs I'm told that the server is Offline. I have another different playlist which was compiled on my iPhone 6 and that plays ok so I'm a bit perplexed here. Has anyone had this issue before and if so how do I fix this please? I have my Uniti 2 playing music ( which i am very pleased with) but I don't think my set up is optimum I have a Virgin router connected by ethernet to an Apple Time Capsule which is the wifi hub for my home wifi network. Hi, as the subject says, after moving my HDX ripped CDs (about 800) the ID tag information is missing when opening these files with Audirvana, for each CD I have to click on "convert to album", wait a couple of seconds and then I would also have to manually add the album art afterwards. Nice. I found out on this forum that the HDX does not only rip CDs but also rips the tagging information apart. Some great stuff from Naim label is only available in AAC 44.1 96 kbs with Tidal. Whatever may be the reason it seems unfitting.

As i am of Greek origin, i listen to a reasonable amount of Greek music. I am very particular with the Tags of my library, so all the Greek music tags use greek characters. Unfortunately, these only appear as ????? marks on the display of the N272 and the UQ2. Is it possible to add Greek characters to the software, if anyone knows? Plugged in the Gustard using a AES to BNC converter plugged into the BNC terminal on the dac, switched the Audirvana plus over to the Gustard. Front panel light on the Gustard on ok. No sync light or music. Confussed switched everything back to optical input directly from the Mac Mini, fine. Switched back to the Gustard and reselected the AES output nothing. Hi Folks, I bought netgear network switch for my streaming system and it has the cable tester function, I tested and found the LAN cable between the NDX and switch has crosstalk result, I tried replace other cable, the result is same. Anyone can let me know why has crosstalk and how to solve it ? Will it make the sound quality worst ? Remark: NAS to Switch use the same cable is no crosstalk. Regards, marcobb

Has anyone got the 'added stations' function to work with the iPhone app? I added a few stations to a folder on my tuner account - after putting in my Mu-so MAC address - and expected to see them in 'added stations' on the app. All I got was 'loading' or 'no added stations'.

Hi I am having trouble with making playlists, I have recently purchased a Uniti serve and a Super Uniti. I have downloaded the latest app 4.8. When I make a playlist of approx. 10 tracks. I come back to this a while later and it has 500 tracks on it, it says playlist is full no further track can be added. It will no let me edit or even delete the playlist. This is happening on the Ipad and the Iphone Any idea what I am doing wrong? Paul

The Twonky Server on my old WD MyCloud NAS had one redeeming feature; when using Bubble, you could sequentially play random tracks from all albums in the collection. When I try this with my new Synology 216j running totally standard DMS, it says this feature is not supported. Is this a question of configuration or is it really not possible?

I ripped a CD while, unknown to me, the wired network to the UQ was "down". I ended up with the music but completely wrong metadata. The N-serve app would not allow me to edit the metadata or delete the entire album. Using Finder on my iMac found the file but would not allow me to do the delete. I recently updated the firmware on my UQ and it now has Tidal installed (before the update, I was streaming Tidal through the UQ from my phone via an Airport Express). Problem is that now, if I use Tidal installed on the Qute, it will just stop around 1-2 minutes into a song.
