I have UnitiQute 2 and a Synology NAS drive. I rip from Mac using Dbpoweramp. Most cds rip fine, but with a proportion of ripped cds, when I go to play using the Naim app, don't give the option to 'play from...' only to 'play' the individual track. Hi, I have now finally confirmed that my qb connected wirelessly, cannot wake from stand by. As soon as the unit enters standby I get the no rooms found message. The way to get it back online is to setup the wireless network connection again. When the qb is wired it wakes up without problems. Claus

Hi all, I've had my Qb for 2 days now, and I am very happy with the musicality of the unit. But on day one it was difficult getting the Qb to be detected on my naim app, I did something and it worked, was able to get upnp, spotify, etc. Day 2: it has dropped from my naim app and I just can't get it to be detected again. I've been using a ReadyNAS Duo to store music for the last 5 years but the discs are getting full and because it is an earlier version new disc compatibility is limited. Thinking of getting latest Synology or Qnaps with 2x 3TB of storage (WD Red) which can be had for c£300. Hi, Is anyone out there successfully streaming Tidal Hifi using a satellite internet connection? My NAC-N272 simply stops playing after anything from a couple of minutes upwards, and it's then necessary to re-start the track. It's not a line speed issue, as the line is running at 20gb and the 272 is direct connected to the router. My supplier mentioned latency as a possible cause, but I have no problem playing Tidal Hifi on other streaming devices. Thanks.

Impressed by the quality of Naim's integration of Tidal into their streamers (I'm using an SU), I cancelled my Qobuz subscription and switched to Tidal. Hi, I've been told by friends who have NAS drives that they will wear out eventually. Can a NAS be backed up on a normal external HD? Or will I need to buy the same one again with a mirror?

I am at my wits end with this downloading business! I NEVER have any success with it and usually abandon it and buy the LP or CD instead. In this case I purchased an LP from the Linn Records website, but it was warped. So I have now downloaded the 24 bit, 192kHz FLAC file. I have dragged the folder into the Downloads folder on the NS01. That was about two hours ago. But it is still not visible on the Naim app or n-serve. It's visible in the NS01 Downloads folder when I look in Windows...

It has been 3 years since I got my NDX and to be honest, I have been struggling to understand album art requirements. Despite following the rules (ie getting the file name folder.jpg and having my upnp server set to display it), some album art just do not show. Is it a matter of size or resolution ? I have not seen such definitions before. For the record, I am using Synology NAS with the latest DSM and Media Server package. Have tried setting display low res image and still doesn't work on some.

Hello. I've got new problem with my NS02 - dead PSU. Ok, I replaced it with the identical PSU but I found out that PSU isn't the only one dead. HDD is faulty too. And this is the problem, I can replace hardware, but what should I do with software? Any suggestions? Fault HDD can not be read, so I can't get the disk image.

Hi All, I have an SU currently (excuse the pun) connected with the standard mains lead to an Isotek Mini Sub II, connected to an original domestic ac spur with Isotek's mains cable of equal vintage. Would connecting the SU to the Mini Sub , or directly to the mains, using a Naim PowerLine offer any real/significant benefit? Thanks. KR, J

Hello All, I have been trying to backup my Userve 2TB to a Qnap 253 NAS but a thing that seems not to be rocket science will not work at all.. Tried some RTFM but the Userve will not connect to the Qnap and the Desktop Client will not find neither the Userve nor the Qnap. Hi, The HDX of my friend was replaced due to an hardware issue. So this is a new HDX. His Synology NAS contains audio datas from the old HDX. what is the way to reconnect this NAS to this new HDX, without loosing data? the installation guide only describes the procedure for new HDX and new empty NAS. I seem to have a whole bunch of new directories "automatically" created on my NAS with names like "D1DTPM~M" or "GYYO5P~L" (that is, automatically generated by the operating system, not myself) which i have no clue where the come from.
