Hi All, From time to time (so, not every time) I play a queued music list on the ND5 XS, it stops playing at random times. This typically only happens once during a listening session. When pressing "play" again, it works fine for the rest of the time. The ND5 gets its music from a NAS using Minimserver as UPnP server. Anyone similar experience? Kurt

Hi all, Just bought 2 albums on HDtracks in 24/192 ALAC. Tried to play them on my superuniti (latest software) but so far no luck. I was blaming jRiver (i use DLNA play) , restarted all systems etc etc. but still not luck. Then thought may be search for 24/192 ALAC and superuniti. Then i got an closed topic on this topic saying it is not working. Is this still the case and did i just bought a bunch of unlistenable ones and zeros?

How do I do this? I'm sure when I first installed it I saw an option somewhere within the Naim app, but I can't find it now.

Hi,  wonder if anyone has seen this before.  I have the demo of Audirvana and quite like it so far from MM to NDAC. It's been told to index music folders on my QNAP NAS and finds some of my long DJ Mixes.  These are around 500Mb mp3 and play for about 5.5 hours.  well that's it they don't play.   Home network is gigabit ethernet and the same files play fine via a UPNP renderer I have on a blu ray box, controlled by plugplayer.   Does anyone have any ideas? ...

Hi, just learned about the new upcoming Muso qb in spring whilst searching for a hifi desktop speaker solution for my iMac. The idea is to stream hi-res coming eg. from Qobuz. Now my questions: 1- Is the new Muso qb a perfect fit? 2- What input connection is best? Can I use a usb cabled connection to the qb as input? 3- Do I need a DAC in between?   Despite the new Muso qb could be my preferred solution, are there any other setup recommendations for hi-res streaming in conjunction with...

Quite frankly, it's getting me down.   I'm fine streaming from Tidal, Radio and input, works like a dream. However, when I stream via AirPlay from my MacBook Air the signal cuts out badly. I invested in an ethernet-over-mains solution but...

First, current system. A Cocktail Audio X30 plus Naim CD5X with Wharfedale 230 speakers. Now, here is where things get complicated. Bought a new Muso and have loved it , then one evening listened to my main hi Fi system again and it sounded flat and undynamic. So the the X30 has to go, then I was thinking that I have not purchased  an audio CD for over one year...so maybe sell the CD player as well and buy a new streaming system !.Here's my two options, secondhand HDX fed into a Nait...

Hi all, With my UnitiLite I've been Logitech Media Server to access QNAP NAS. The LMS shows album images but not artist images. I've now also got Plex Media Server and that does a nice job of finding and presenting artist images. However, on the NaimApp when I open an album and then go back to the main list it doesn't show the listing at the same point but resets to the beginning of the library. Anyone got experience of Plex Media Server?

Is it just me or is RP down this morning (13th January)? The Who's "Love reign o'er me" has been on repeat for hours and the web site is unavailable.  I can't find anything on Twitter - has anyone any idea what is happening?

Having a playlist feature in the Naim App is a nice feature. But for me, it is completely useless. Unfortunately, I loose all my tracks from time to time in all playlists. All tracks are broken then, showing a red cross icon. I don't know how this happens. I just tried to restart the UPnP Server and did an update. But this doesn't break a just created playlist.  I am using the latest Minimserver and Minimstreamer on OS X and the Naim App with iOS. Does anyone knows how does this happens...

hi folks, atv4 has no optical out, hdmi out only as you know... so is it possible to have 192kHz/24 output over hdmi? if so, can one grab this signal and lead it to a DAC? Many thanks! Ralf (hope, this is not against forum rules....)

Hi All Im trying to update my UnitiQute from 3.15 to the latest firmware with great difficulty. Macbook Pro with USB to  RS232 .  Drivers installed fine and recognised in the setting and also by the Naim Updater Software. Both UQ and MB are connected to my router with ethernet cables.  Both I can see registering with my router and likewise if I query the status on the UQ I can see DHCP and IP etc.   The updater app just keeps getting to the 'not communicating' screen and...

Hi all. I've been using a mu-so of little over a week now and trying all the different streaming inputs 1. When I use tidal via the Naim app the music constantly stops and starts 2 . when I use the tidal app directly via AirPlay it all works fine 3. I also seem to have sync issues when I'm using the digital input my setup is this: mu-so connected to Airport Time Capsule via Ethernet     Apple TV 4 connected via HDMi to a Samsung UE55JS8500 the TV is then connected to the mu-so via...

It would be wonderful if you could integrate a simple equalizer in the next firmware update for Mu-so. It's not about making the sound better, more about an adjustable low cut due to my neighbours ;) Bass is still too heavy in the night even with loudness turned off. Thanks in advance!

I need to organise a demo but I am starting to think about possibilities. I currently have a Linn Genki, Kolektor, LK140, Tukan passive system. I am planning to replace the electronics with the Unitiqute. It would be good to keep the Tukans whilst I investigate replacements. Does anyone run with Tukans. Does the Naim run happily with them?  Thanks for your thoughts.  Mark

I have been listening to the available BBC Prom 2015 concerts via iPlayer, most recently Prom 61. The quality of the music is very good. Prom 61 includes Bartok's 2nd Piano Concerto, a work I had never heard. I have now listened to it three times, it is very good - with some excellent fireworks and drama folded in. I recommend these streams, unfortunately I have only been able to find them for classical music. iPlayer has a number  of classic rock concerts, but at much lower quality. M...

Hi, am currently running a Unitiqute 1 with a NAP 100 power amp. 100% of my music is now streamed via a Sonos Connect, either Spotify, Tidal or from my own iTunes music library. I'm wondering now if I should drop the Unitiqute and upgrade to a V1 in order to make the most out of streaming digital. I'm assuming that the V1 in partnership with the NAP100 will act as a pre-amp? Any thoughts or recommendations here? Will the V1 improve the quality of my streaming audio? Any other options that...

Hi I used to work at Racal in Salisbury near Naim in the 1980's and Naim was all about quality products - the toroidal transformer, no tone controls, low distortion etc - music for purists.... I invested then (at the age of 20) and still invest now - SuperUniti - naim ovator etc - the music sounds great - as  good as ever but can anyone tell me now why Naim have built the Muso. Am I shopping now at Tesco's and Asda for my hi-fi? Does anybody understand total harmonic distortion at John...

The Strats are just about to complete a major kitchen/breakfast room refit and would like to add a Muso to use with the DVD/TV, listen to the radio and stream some stuff in.  My main listening will remain on the big rig in the lounge and for this I will stick with the CDS3 and of course the Xerxes so the Muso will be the 2nd system.    The Internet feed will be across the mains with Netgear plugs but I could do with some advice with ripping my CDs etc.   I currently...

I was listening to music on my Unitiserve while burning a CD.  Suddenly, the music died.  I looked on my iPad and it said "no servers found".  I ejected the CD that was in the Unitiserve and tried to shut it off using my finger against the lighted logo, but it won't shut off.  I'm afraid to turn it off using the switch on the back because I know this can damage the data.  My Unitiserve is connected to my network using a powerline plug in network adaptor.  I've...

What's the best low cost way to connect a laptop to a Qute (via USB)?

My ipad has had it so considering an ipad pro as a replacement. Does anyone know whether  the naim app and nserv support the split screen function available with ios9. I quite like the idea of being able to have both apps open at the same time largely because nserv shows the last 100 albums played whilst the naim app only gives you 20. By the way if anyone is beta testing or providing feedback on the apps a welcome addition to the naim app would be to increase the number of albums shown...

Well, i have to say i really like the look of this, especially as the kids have been trying to blag getting a full size Muso for their bedrooms. So, with that in mind, are there any further specs ie size etc and RRP for these?   :)

Hi everyone, I'm lost here...  I cannot understand why, just on few albums, my HDX will only play the first track of the album. Then I have to hit 'Next' to hear the second track and so an so. A trick to this is to play the album with the random option. But I don't understand why it won't play the full album, going itself from track to track automatically like it does on other albums. Even if I hit 'queue next'  it won't play the songs next to another.  What's missing on these...
