Do people notice a delay between tracks as compressed flac loads the next track? I noticed this particularly on analbum with many short tracks - Elgar Enigma Variations, also Peer Gynt This was on PC using asset server & media player. I hadn't noticed via ND5XS itself, which happily sees asset on the PC but not media player. But I hadn't listened to either via ND5XS so unable to say one way or the other I made two changesand the tracks loaded...

For fun I built a streamer for Spotift out of a raspberry pi running volumio OS while I search for a permanent solution. £50 all in and it sounds pretty good I have to say. Certainly a fuller richer sound than its predecessor. I know a few have dabbled on here but what next to improve it? Audioquest jitterbug? Anyone dabbled with i2s DACs?

when I play 188  24 bit high res the music is choppy in some places but in 96 24bit it's fine this occurs in mostly Usb connection. I have a dac vi and aurelic streamer. Remember just the upper res has this problem!
