DSM 5.2 released this morning - looks like significant changes in many areas https://www.synology.com/en-uk/releaseNote/DS214 The main focus seems to be Log-On & Cloud stuff The only audio change seems to be "Added support of transcoding FLAC/APE, ALAC/AAC, OGG, AIFF formats for DLNA players" ........... not sure what that does as I don't transcode (I'm all .wav), I would hope it fixes the problem of only transcoding at 16 bit
