Streaming Audio

I am a big naim fan. I have owned an XS, Supernait 2, HiCapDR, 282,dac v1 etc but what I have never been drawn to was a naim streamer. Most of my music is either CD or more often these days sonos with Quboz via a Westlake modded dac. I know people will turn their nose up on sonos but it is a very system. I guess in my head I don't understand how spending £2k on a streamer will improve this. Am I missing something?
