Streaming Audio

It makes any sense to connect a NAS Synology (214Play to a Naim DAC-V1 by Usb and play the Hi-res music stored in the NAS in the Naim set ( NAS -> DACv1 -> 202 -> 200 -> LoudSpeakers) ? How to choose / control what to play ?
