Streaming Audio

Mac OS 10.8.3, i.Tunes 11.0.2 (26) 64 bit HDX v1.65. My mac can see the hdx and the music folders and the tracks. HDX cannot see anything on the network. The music is shared and shows on home shares as well. Any help appreciatted. thanks
